Distinguishing Deception

No one wavers in the movies

when they love

it is evident they do

because of consistent choice

in the midst of fear.

 

Such certainty drives them

and they follow their heart,

that wicked thing full of deceit

who can trust it?

 

But I want a love so

committed

to itself

that even threat of death

makes it a thousand times stronger.

 

Even death itself

is a capstone without waver.
