The Chastening for our Peace

fell upon him.

Forgiveness the access to eternity.

Scourging for healing.

Death for life.

Chains for freedom.

There will be no end to the increase of his government or peace.

 

I cannot understand this

but know it to be true.

Though mountains be removed

and the hills shake

one thing remains

his covenant of peace.
